Traditional-Live! (aka NE Oregon Folklore Society)

Traditional-Live! is based in La Grande, Oregon and presents the following regular events and activities:

Semi-monthly folk dancing, Contra every 1st and English Country every 3rd Tuesday evening
Regular monthly Open Jams (2nd Saturdays) and Irish Sessions (4th Saturdays)
A community Country Dance Fiddle Orchestra (practices every 1st and 3rd Tuesday)
as well as other occasional special workshops, concerts and dances

We also have sponsored or co-sponsored the following:

SpringAlive: Dance and Music Celebration, a day of traditional dance and music the second or third Saturday in May.
Winter English Country Dance Class and Ball, a intensive class series on the art of English Country Dance with a culminating Ball in late March.
